Road to Zero ideal vehicle for remote learning

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the TAC’s ‘Road to Zero Education Complex’ at Melbourne Museum is temporarily closed and the ‘Regional In-School Program’ is on hold. Secondary students studying health and physical education are still able to tap into the world-first program while learning from home.

Take a look at health and physical education resources devised by curriculum and subject matter experts that use TAC’s road safety campaigns to develop students’ skills in critically analysing and evaluating strategies to promote road safety.

Free resources

Check out the free health and physical education resources on the Road to Zero website, which can be incorporated into your classes right now. Search for the ‘Pre-Visit Activities’ or click the links below for downloadable resources:

Each resource includes a description of the activity (for teachers), curriculum links and a student worksheet. They are suitable for both class-based and remote learning arrangements.

Curriculum

The highly engaging teaching resources are designed to address the Year 9 and 10 Health & PE curriculum, including:

  • Personal, Social and Community Health – communicating and interacting for health and wellbeing (VCHPEP148)
  • Personal, Social and Community Health – contributing to healthy and active communities (VCHPEP149)
