Units 3 and 4 Trial Exams released plus digital PDF version now available

It is critical our VCE students are afforded meaningful opportunities to prepare for their exams, despite the circumstances they are in. We are happy to report all ACHPER Victoria VCE® Level Trial Examinations have been finalised and are now ready for purchase via our website shop.

We know many students may have to complete exams from home due to remote learning, so in response to teacher needs, we’re pleased to also announce the release of a new digital option for these students for our Unit 3 and 4 Trial Exams.

Our VCE® Editable PDF Trial Exams digital option means students can type in their responses, in addition to the printable PDF as part of your resource purchase. Before using the digital option with your students, please consider the following:

• The trial exams have been developed for you to share with the students within your class/school only (same copyright requirements of using our trial exams applies regardless of whether you use the printable or editable copies).
• As students will be sitting VCAA examinations in person and hand writing responses, it is encouraged that some of their practice exams are completed in this format, not all electronic, to give them practice of how long responses can be, the time it takes to handwrite responses and the ability to annotate stimulus material by hand.
• If you are asking students to complete the editable PDF version, please instruct them to SAVE A COPY with an appropriate file name (eg: include their name, date etc), and to ensure they save their responses before sending to you. If documents are not saved, their responses may be lost.
• The Units 3 and 4 Physical Education editable PDF exam:
  • contains options for students to select multiple choice within the document, rather than on a separate multiple choice response sheet. If you wish for your students to respond to the multiple choice questions on a separate answer sheet, please use the answer sheet provided in the resource pack (note this is not editable, so will need to be completed by hand and a photo sent back).
  • contains one question where students are required to draw a graph, which cannot be completed in the PDF document. Students should complete this on a separate sheet of paper by hand, take a photo of it and send it back to their teacher for marking.
