Road to Zero can’t wait to see you in the second half of 2023
This article is from our annual partners, Transport Accident Commission (TAC)’s Road To Zero.
The Road to Zero team at Melbourne Museum is keen to host you and your class in Term 3 and 4. Bookings are now open for its Year 9 and 10 Science, Health & PE and VCE Vocational Major (VM) curriculum-based programs.
Road to Zero is a world-leading road safety experience developed by the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) in partnership with Melbourne Museum and education experts.
It features the latest visual and digital technology to teach secondary school students and the wider community how Victoria is moving towards a future where every journey is a safe one.
What’s new in Road Safety Education?
Your school is invited to be one of the first to experience Road Smart Interactive, a new program launched in 2023. It is designed to reflect contemporary best-practice approaches to road safety education and engages Years 9 to 11 and VCE VM students through immersive digital technology.
Road Smart Interactive incursions encourage students to think about how they can be part of the solution to eliminate road trauma. The program is fully self-contained and facilitated by skilled road safety educators.
A reminder: all programs are free
Road to Zero and Road Smart Interactive are free programs. Transport support funding to Road to Zero is also available for eligible schools.
