We are thrilled to welcome John Hendry OAM as our opening keynote speaker. With more than 50 years in education, John is a pioneer of Positive Education and the founder of Relationship-based Education (RbE), a philosophy that places relationships, trust and care at the heart of learning. John’s work with schools across Australia and around the world, including with UNESCO, has transformed how educators create safe, connected and resilient school communities. His keynote will inspire you to reflect on how relationships shape wellbeing, performance and lasting learning.
We are excited to have Alex Rance as our closing keynote speaker. A five-time All-Australian, 2017 AFL Premiership player, and former Richmond Football Club leader, Alex is widely recognised for his exceptional performance, leadership and commitment to purpose. Since retiring from elite sport, Alex has focused on helping schools and organisations strengthen culture, wellbeing and connection. Drawing on his experience as a leadership and culture coach with the Gold Coast Suns Football Club and other forward-thinking organisations, he explores how understanding identity and behaviour under pressure can transform team culture. In his keynote, Alex will unpack how self-awareness and conscious choice drive resilience, fulfilment and belonging. His insights will inspire educators to connect deeply with their purpose and strengthen the wellbeing and performance of the teams they lead.
