What a way to kick off the year. On Tuesday 17 March, we had the pleasure of hosting the HPE Accelerator Workshop and Sports Coordinator Workshop at the AEU in Abbotsford, bringing together 30 passionate educators from across Victoria for a full day of practical, energising professional learning.
Across the day, teachers explored strategies to teach Health and Physical Education (HPE) with greater clarity, confidence and impact. From lesson structures and engaging games to inclusive practices, behaviour management in active spaces, and effective sports program coordination — the workshops were packed with ideas educators could take straight back to their schools.
It was a day of learning, sharing and genuine connection. Great conversations, plenty of movement, and no shortage of practical takeaways. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to such a fantastic professional learning experience. We can’t wait to see these ideas in action across Victorian classrooms and school grounds!
