Nominate for new ‘Excellence in Physical Education and Activity Award’ category in VEEA Awards
For over 15 years, the Victorian Education Excellence Awards (VEEA) have recognised outstanding school professionals working in Victorian government schools.
The awards celebrate principals, teachers and education support staff who show leadership, excellence in teaching and learning, and build a positive climate for learning and community engagement.
This year, a new specialist award category is being offered at primary and secondary level to recognise exceptional teachers in Victorian government schools who demonstrate leadership and excellence in teaching physical education that has led to significant improvements in student achievement, engagement and wellbeing.
Winners of each category will be awarded professional development grants up to $25,000 to continue in their endeavour for education excellence.
Celebrate your own achievements, or the achievement of your colleagues, and nominate for a 2019 award.
Nominations are open until Sunday 9 June.
