Peak Performance Workshop now online
On behalf of Victoria University’s College of Sport & Exercise Science, we hope that you are all keeping well and managing in an environment of digital delivery and social distancing.
Continuing to engage with the members of our diverse community is important to VU, and we are exploring ways to connect in these uncertain times.
To support our school community we are now able to offer our Peak Performance Workshop online!
This online presentation is a virtual visit to a research facility to experience the use of high level technology for a practical activity, which analyses the relative contribution of energy systems and acute responses to exercise.
Linked to VCE specific workshops particularly to Unit 4:
- Use data collected in practical activities to analyse how the major body and energy systems work together to enable movements to occur, and explain the factors causing fatigue and suitable recovery strategies.
As schools and teachers are able to use secondary data for analysis if primary data is not available we are able to offer access to some de-identified primary data collected earlier this year.
Program Cost: $150.00
We hope that we can host our school partners in the not too distant future at our high performance facilities on campus at Footscray Park. In the interim we will continue to look for ways to support teachers with the delivery of course content and School Assessed Coursework.
