Road to Zero Regional In-School Program now taking bookings

The TAC’s Road to Zero In-School Program is is taking bookings for terms 3 and 4! The Road to Zero In-School Program is designed specifically to align with the health and physical education (HPE) curriculum at years 9 and 10 and VCAL. The Program includes an immersive exhibition, followed by a curriculum-based education program.

Students rotate between eight interactive digital stations. They then use a range of information sources to research and reflect on road safety behaviours of 14-17 year olds. Students apply their findings to create a short video campaign that reinforces positive road use.

The In-School Program caters for secondary schools that due to distance can’t easily attend the experience at Melbourne Museum. It’s important to note that the program is delivered free to your school and is set up and run by trained Road to Zero facilitators.

Here’s what some teachers have said about the Program:

“This program was really well organised. I am glad it is taken out to rural / regional areas where it is needed most.”
– Teacher, Horsham

“The kids really enjoyed it. All parts were valuable. The room set up with stands was great.”
– Teacher, Horsham

Road to Zero look forward to running this innovative program at your school. Please refer to the website for more information, as well as pre and post-visit resources.
