Support our Professional Learning program – join an ACHPER Victoria Advisory Group

ACHPER Victoria is looking to form three Advisory groups to support our Professional Learning program:

1. Primary HPE

2. 7-10 Secondary HPE

3. VCE

The purpose of the Advisory Group is to:

• Inform the content and direction of the ACHPER Victorian professional learning program, including workshops, webinars and conferences.

• Input into the development of resources

• Provide advice on issues impacting the profession, and;

• Advocate on behalf of ACHPER Victoria

Members of the Advisory Group will represent the sectors of the Victorian education system including metropolitan and regional interests. Members will be practising teachers or industry professionals with informed knowledge about our discipline area(s) and be passionate advocates for our profession.

Advisory Group members will be appointed for a 12 month period and will attend 2-3 meetings (face to face or online) after school hours.

Advice will be sought from time to time on matters that arise. Such advise may be sought from the full Advisory Group or from individuals within the group.

Minimum time commitment will be approximately 10 hours for the year including meetings and responding to specific requests.
