Working with DLTV to deliver digital wellbeing webinar

Recently, we were fortunate to team up with Digital Learning and Teaching Victoria (DLTV) to co-host a webinar focusing on ‘Digital wellbeing is more than online safety’.

Like everything we do, we love to engage our community’s expertise. For this webinar, we were privileged to be joined by:

  • Jessica Close – Head of PE Sport & Health (Christ Church Grammar School) and SSV SYDSA District Coordinator
  • Andy Gilles – Teach or PE Sport and Health (Christ Church Grammar School)
  • Daniel Thomas – HPE and Sport Coordinator/ Specialist Instructional Leader (Lysterfield Primary School) and SSV Eastern Region Coordinator

Jessica, Andy and Daniel shared how digital technologies can support, not replace how we can engage students with increased physical activity with an educational outcome to enhance mental and physical wellbeing through movement.

They were joined by Daniel Donahoo who is a researcher and producer who works at the intersection of play, technology and learning.

If your’re keen to see what was shared, check out the fantastic webinar recording here.

Again, we can’t thank our facilitators enough for their engagement and we look forward to connecting with more of you to share your expertise in this way.

If you’d like further information on digital wellbeing and safety, please get in touch.
