Term 2 PL events wrap: connecting with HPE educators Australia-wide

Term 2 has seen the Active Education Australia team travelling across the country to connect with educators, coaches and school leaders through a range of professional learning and conference experiences.

Over the past few months, our team delivered six HPE workshops across Queensland and Tasmania, a ConnectED Coach Education workshop in Victoria, attended and presented at the KIDDO Conference in Western Australia, and welcomed educators from across Victoria to the HPE Summit 2026 at AFL Max.

By the numbers, that’s:

  • 11x AEA staff and active educators involved in event delivery
  • 4x states visited
  • 9x locations reached
  • 22x flights taken
  • 9x professional learning events delivered

From Brisbane to Hobart, Perth to Melbourne, the kilometres travelled were significant, but the real impact came through the conversations, connections and learning shared along the way.

Across every workshop and conference, we saw educators eager to explore practical strategies that help young people thrive through movement, health and wellbeing.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, presented, partnered with us or helped make these events possible. We look forward to building on this momentum in Semester 2 as we continue supporting active futures in schools and communities across Australia.
