Key Priority Area
Quality Physical Education
Quality PE helps students learn movement skills and build confidence to be active.
Quality PE is part of the school curriculum. In planned PE lessons, students learn movement skills, build confidence and learn ways to be active.
About Quality Physical Education
Quality PE is planned learning based on the Health and Physical Education curriculum. Students learn movement skills, make choices and build confidence through lessons.
Why this matters
Quality PE helps students learn skills such as running, throwing and catching. It also builds physical literacy: the skills, confidence and knowledge to enjoy being active.
PE lessons can help students work with others, solve problems and enjoy movement. Lessons should give every student a chance to learn and improve.
