Thank you to everyone who participated in Active Education Australia (AEA)’s 40th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Board election process.
With two Board Director positions available, six highly qualified nominees put themselves forward, reflecting the strength, expertise and commitment within our national community.
Following a thorough nominations and election process, we are pleased to announce the re-election of Rebecca Johnstone (nee Sandlant) and Dr Jacqui Peters to the Board for a further two-year term.
We thank all nominees for their willingness to contribute to the future of Active Education Australia and congratulate Rebecca and Jacqui on their re-appointment as we continue to grow our national impact and support educators across Australia.

For a significant number of students, PE is remembered less as a highlight of school life and more as a source of anxiety, embarrassment or exclusion. How do we make sure every student has a fair go at finding a form of movement that works for them, delivered in a way that builds them up.
The AEA team connected with educators, coaches and school leaders through a range of professional learning and conferences around the country in Term 2. From Brisbane to Hobart, Perth to Melbourne, real impact came through the conversations, connections and learning shared along the way.
